Legwarmers for daughter E. I had to modify the pattern a bit, so they’d fit a child. Maybe I’ll make a pair for myself sometimes.
This wasn’t a christmas present, but I made double mittens for the same girl. The outer mittens are felted in washer and the inner mittens are thin alpaca. Actually, I was making a pair of super warm mittens for myself, but the outer mittens became too small after felting and I didn’t feel like knitting a new pair, so I just made them in kid size. She asked me to embroider a falling star on them and I did.
I’ve also knit a pair of socks for daughter S, but since they are blocking, I’ll write about them later.
