Yarn: Pirtin kehräämön karstalanka 200 tex x 4
Needles: 7 mm
It’s finished! I wanted a cardigan that’s warm and long and it sure is. Knitting was pretty hard due to thick yarn, but it also keeps it’s shape well and is very warm. Surprisingly, I didn’t have to wait a week for it to dry after washing and it didn’t stretch out a bit. Very glad!
It’s knit from top down and raglan increases are made with yarnovers. Since the cables are large, I wanted to add a bit of airiness and I think they balance well each other.
I thought whether to add pockets or not and I ended up not making them. I realized they would have to carry my phone and point and shoot camera and that would’ve been too much weight for knitted pockets.
Coat and mittens kept close. Can’t do without anymore, no sweater is warm enough to substitute the fall coat for me.
