I just released Riemu, a new shawl pattern. The name means “joy” in Finnish and a joyful project this has been. I sometimes find making shawls difficult because of the long, long rows but with Riemu it’s not the case. Riemu is worked in two sections and this keeps the amount of stitches reasonable the whole time.

The other thing I love about this piece is that you can either use up your leftover yarn or buy something special just for it. The possibilities for creating stunning color combinations are endless. My lovely test knitters already created some beautiful shawls, you can see them here.
