I’ve released the pattern for Rhilea cardigan a couple of days ago and I wanted to thank you all for the wonderful response it has received. Thank you!
I just love the stunning cardigans that my test knitters have made, you can see them in Ravelry here.
This was my first time using Malabrigo Arroyo and I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s wonderful to knit with, has a beautiful stitch definition and is so very soft.
Rhilea is worked from top down, joining pieces as you go. Dolman-like sleeves are worked as seamless extensions of the body and the bottom seam of each sleeve is joined with Three-Needle Bind-off. It means that when you’ve finished knitting the upper body, you already have made the sleeves and after working the body, there are only ribbed cuffs and button bands to make.
The pattern is available in English and German and it has many construction schematics that help to visualize the construction.
